Cop Harry Styles' Suit Game
I recently saw Harry Styles in concert, and it just reinforced what I already knew: the man has mad suit game.
Harry’s British rock star vibes and stage presence are amplified by his amazing suits and outfits. His style is seriously next level, especially compared to most male musicians who just wear jeans and a tee on stage. No shade to that look, because I love it for myself and simple on stage is never a bad thing, but Harry’s suits…. I drool every time.
So, if I want to dress like Harry Styles, how can I go about doing that? Luckily, awesome suits for women are trendy right now. So we can cop Harry’s style for our closets!
Of course, the first place to look is Suit Heaven, aka Wildfang. Wildfang has a lot of great suits for women, especially floral, which is a favorite pattern of Harry's.
This suit, aptly named "The Empower," is a small floral pattern that would work in every setting, from work to a party. And it's all on sale right now! The casual version of blazer (featured above, with suede elbow patches) is $124.60, the tuxedo version of the blazer is $134.40 and the cropped pants are $78.40.
For another floral look that's a bit more understated, this Express suit in a shade of pink Harry often sports goes perfectly with a floral blouse. The top blouse is from Wildfang ($69) and the bottom blouse is from Zara ($45.90). Both parts of this suit come in a handful colors and they're also on sale! The pants are $55.93 and the blazer is $89.60.
Another pattern Harry does well is plaid/windowpane. The navy Tahari suit below is $160 for both pieces, which is a pretty good deal. The gray suit is from Express and sadly the blazer is sold out, but the pants are $55.93. If you're daring, mix-and-match with a similar blazer that's a slightly darker gray.
Harry's love of color really adds to his stage presence. He's not afraid to wear a bright pink suit and colorblocks perfectly with loose, silky shirts.
Under your suit, my three favorite options are: a tight, sexy bodysuit, a cute camisole or a blousy top with bows and/or ruffles.
What do you think? Will you channel Harry Styles next time you need an outfit for a special occasion or a change in your work wardrobe?
